How to make original dumplings

Do you love dumplings but are you tired of always eating them with the same crescent shape? Well, if you have molds in other ways at home, you can invent some very original dumplings. Next, we explain step by step how to do it.

  • Wafers (as many as dumplings you want to make)
  • Stuffed for the empanadillas (tuna, sobrasada, cheese ... or whatever you can think of)
  • Egg white
  • Oil
  • Ketchup

Choose the ingredients you want to put into the dumplings. We will make them of three types (tuna with tomato, sobrasada and roquefort cheese)


Remove the wafers from the dumplings and put them on a smooth surface. With the mold you have mark the shape on the two wafers. So you will have the same base and top.


Place the filling right in the center of the patty. Do not put a lot of money so that when closed they do not break.


Place the top wafer on top of the one with the filling trying to match all its ends. Close the pie by helping with a fork marking the ends of the wafers with the tips of the fork.


Place the dumplings on a baking sheet with paper towels previously smeared with a little oil so they don't stick together.


With a kitchen brush varnish the empanadillas above with the white of an egg.


Leave them in the oven for about 20 minutes or until golden brown. This is the result!
