How to make veal curry

  • 400 g of patatos
  • 400 ml of coconut milk
  • 200 ml of water
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 onion
  • 25 g palm sugar
  • 25 g of peanuts
  • 3 tablespoons Massaman Curry Paste
  • 2 tablespoons tamarind paste

We start our beef curry recipe putting in a pot on the fire a little vegetable oil, when it starts to be a little hot we add the Massaman curry paste and stir so that it mixes with the oil and releases a little. We add a stream of coconut milk and continue stirring so that the ingredients are fully integrated.

Then, we cut the veal into large dice and we add a little salt; Then we add it to the pot and mix well with the curry paste so that it is impregnated with the flavor. Add the bay leaves, the water, mix a little and then cover and lower the heat at low intensity for 20 minutes. While cooking, we will wash the potatoes, peel them and cut them into large pieces so that they are integrated with the veal.

After 20 minutes add the potatoes to the pot, the rest of the coconut milk, tamarind paste and palm sugar. We remove everything so that the flavors mix and return to low heat, cover the pot and let it cook for another 20 minutes without uncovering or touching the recipe.

The last step of our curry beef recipe is to add the onion chopped into small pieces, the peanuts and stir again. We let all the ingredients be cooked together without covering the pot for about 10 or 15 minutes, the thicker you want it to fit, the longer you should leave it.
